Join us at JCCC to discuss stormwater management

Stormwater management is important for many reasons, including improving water quality and reducing flooding. This month, the League, along with Johnson County Community College's Center for Sustainability and Department of History and Political Science, is discussing how communities and individuals can capture stormwater, slow water runoff, and prevent flooding.

The session will be moderated by Jeremy Knoll with Climate Action KC. Jeremy is also the Associate Principal and Director of Sustainability and Regenerative Design with BNIM Architects. We are also pleased to feature:
  • Kristy Howell, JCCC Center for Sustainability
  • Synthia Isah, Water Quality Planner, Mid-America Regional Council
  • Ian Fannin-Hughes, Johnson County Stormwater Management Program
Wednesday, September 7 | 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
