Join us for a guided tour
The League is hosting a guided tour of the exhibit, "Redlined: Cities, Suburbs, and Segregation" at the Johnson County Museum. Participants will dive deep into the history of redlining and its lingering legacies. Using artifacts from the Johnson County Museum, the State Historical Society of Missouri, and images from more than 20 institutions, the exhibit shows how Johnson County and surrounding areas shaped and was shaped by the federal policy of redlining. Art from the African American Artists Collective within the exhibit provides opportunities to reflect on redlining from different perspectives.
