Action/Advocacy:
Design and participate in activities that influence government officials to support League goals. Phone, visit, or write letters to public officials, testify at hearings, and mobilize public support.

Candidate Forums:
Reserve location, invite candidates, coordinate with PR Chair. Set up, greet guests, serve as moderator, panelists or timekeeper.

Communications:
Help share news and events with members.

Fundraising:
Develop fundraising activities necessary to sustain the League.

Greeters:
Greet visitors at meetings and events

Membership:
Recruit, retain, and involve members in League activities.

National, State & Local Studies:
Participate in the formal process by which the League creates or updates its public policy positions

Naturalization:
Register new citizens as voters at monthly naturalization ceremonies

Newsletter:
Coordinate content, prepare, and distribute The VOTER in print and online
.
Observer Corps:
Attend community and government meetings on a regular basis and prepare a brief report.

Position/Bylaw Review:
Assess and review accuracy and effectiveness of League positions, and policies.

Programs:
Obtain speakers for monthly meetings and their résumés for publicity.

Public Relations: Promote League’s image and activities in the community and inform the public of the League’s services, positions, membership opportunities and fundraising efforts.

Publications:
Prepare annual meeting booklet, directory, bylaws and other League documents for publication.
Social Policy:
Promote social and economic justice, and the health and safety of all Americans. This may include education, child-care, eldercare, mental health & health services, poverty, or transit.

Speakers Bureau:
Speak to other community organizations about League and public policy issues.

Special Arrangement/Social Events:
Coordinate public activities and special events.

Transportation: Provide transportation to members in need of rides to League activities.

Voter Services:
Assist in providing nonpartisan, unbiased, and factual information to help citizens make their own informed decisions on Election Day. Hold voter registration events
