Use the election office website to check your voter registration, confirm your polling place, learn what districts you live in, the names of your representatives, and view the list of candidates for upcoming elections. Kansas offers 3 ways to cast your vote: 1) in advance in person, 2) at the polls on Election Day, and 3) in advance by mail.

In Advance In Person and At the Polls on Election Day
When voting in person, you are asked to show a form of identification. Here is a list of types of ID Accepted. (Note: If you don't have one of the valid forms of identification, you may qualify for a free id. Details can be found from the Secretary of State.)

💥💥💥The League Recommends Dropping Your Ballot at a Drop Box, Early Voting Location, or Polling Location on Election Day.💥💥💥
Mail service is slow. One reason is that most mail in Kansas is sent to other states for processing and then sent on to its destination.  

The league recommends that if you want to vote by mail, don't return it by mail if you don't have to. Fill out your ballot as soon as you receive it and drop it off at a Drop Box, Early Voting Location, or Polling Location on Election Day. Ballots must arrive at the election office at 7 pm on election day, and mail delays could result in your ballot not making the deadline.

If you are unable to take your ballot to a drop box or Early Voting location, you can ask a friend or family member to take it for you.  Note: In Kansas, delivering more than 10 advance mail ballots for others is a crime. Anyone carrying a voter’s ballot must complete an affidavit on the envelope, and violating this law can result in a felony.
