The Observer Corp
The Observer Corps consists of members who volunteer to observe public meetings of elected bodies and write a short report for our chapter newsletter. Our purpose is twofold:
- To provide a visible and consistent presence in public meetings, reinforcing the message that the public watches and cares about the actions of elected bodies; and
- To educate our members about relevant actions taken by elected bodies.
Observers can attend meetings in-person or online. If attending in-person, don't forget your League name tag!
