| Join us for our annual meeting on Satuday, March 2, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Shawnee Mission Unitarian Universalist Church at 9400 Pflumm Road in Lenexa. The Annual Report 2024, which includes the proposed budget and board/officer nominations, is available here. Please review it to prepare for the meeting. (Come at 9 a.m. for socializing and coffee!)
The meeting will begin with a keynote address by Kim Bergman and Lesa Patterson-Kinsey, who spearheaded the movement to pass the Statute of Limitation (SOL) Reform bill in Kansas for child sexual abuse. These advocates and survivors played key roles in driving the legislation forward, and sharing their stories and encouraging others to do so was pivotal in their achievement. Learn firsthand from those who championed change and discover how their efforts have reshaped the landscape of child protection.
Exceptional members will be honored for their service during the meeting as well.
